Candle Care & Frequently Asked Questions

First Burn

For best results, allow your candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted to the edges of the container. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures you get the most out of your candle. The first burn sets the "memory" of the wax, so take your time with it.

Wick Trimming

Trim your wick to about ¼ inch before every burn. A trimmed wick produces a cleaner, steadier flame and helps prevent soot or excessive smoking. You can use scissors, nail clippers, or a dedicated wick trimmer.

Safe Burn Time

Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning longer than this can cause the wick to mushroom, the container to overheat, and the fragrance throw to diminish. Always allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.

Container Handling

The container will get warm during burning — never touch or move a lit candle or one that has been burning recently. Keep your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, edges, and anything flammable. Always burn within sight and keep away from children and pets.

Storage

Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Heat can soften the wax and affect the fragrance. Keeping the lid on when not in use helps protect the scent and surface.

Shipping — What to Expect

We ship all orders within 24 hours of purchase. Delivery is via USPS Ground, so you can expect your order within 7 days of ordering. Once your order ships, a tracking number will be emailed to you. We currently ship within the U.S.A. and Canada only.

Returns & Damages

Because our candles are handcrafted in small batches, all sales are final and we are unable to accept returns. However, if your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us right away so we can make it right. Refunds are issued for damaged or defective items only.
